NMC01 William & Odo Command (4)
Contains William, Bishop Odo, a Standard Bearer and Horn-Blower.
The William figure here is based on the tale of William revealing his face during the Battle Of Hastings to scotch rumours of his death. Bishop Odo wears the quilted armour that he is illustrated wearing in the Bayeaux Tapestry. He is the only figure in that Norman propaganda rag wearing such armour but, as he commissioned the piece, I guess he can wear what he wants!
Supplied with 'wooden' club for William and metal-headed mace for Odo.
Figures with shields have cast-on Rimmed Kite shields.
See 'Associated Products' section below for transfer suggestions.
Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Spears, banner, banner-pole and bases not included. Any weapons and horses supplied may vary from those illustrated.
28mm metal figures. Sculpted by Colin Patten. Examples painted by Adey Burt.
