SWORDPOINT The War of the Roses is a supplement for the SWORDPOINT Ancient and Medieval Wargames Rule set.
SWORDPOINT is a set of “Big Battle” game rules for fighting actions in the ancient and medieval periods. Games of SWORDPOINT involve between 100 and 250 figures per side arranged into multiple units. The game is designed to last about 2 hours and encourages the use of historical tactics and emphasises the need to maintain cohesion in the army’s battle line, without being prescriptive.
This The War of the Roses supplement provides you with all the information you need to field the Yorkist and Lancastrian armies of the various "Wars of the Roses", including the later pretender uprisings, in your games of SWORDPOINT. The book covers the period 1450AD-1525AD and contains 6 army lists and 6 scenarios.
